On 18th October, a young boy who had been mising for the last three months, finally returned to his house. He had been missing from his neighbour hood. His parents were desperate. Moreover, the kid had no celphone so he couldn´t be located. His adoptive parents, Cecily and Mark spent every sing of hope they had, trying to find their boy. However, they didn´t give up. They told everyone that the kid, Mike, was wearing a white t-shirt and black pants. They look desesperatly everywhere. In addition they stick posters of Mike´s face all over the neighbour hood. The dispair in Cecily and Mark´s face was easyly perceived. All of a sudden, everything changed, While the parents were sitting in their kitchen, crying, someone knocked on the door. And there he was the boy that was so happy, with tears in his eyes. Mike run to hug his parents that were as shock as delightful. After half an hour of hugs and tears, they finally asked what had happened to him. Mike, nervous and afraid retold the story. He told that he was walking in the neighbour hood and he saw a hurt cat in the street. While he was taking care of the cat, a black car stopped right next to him. Some men got out of the car and kept him in an antique garage, The men barely gave Mike to eat. One day, he shouted so hard, that a man passing there, call the police.
In this summary I will talk about the different types of climates: Equatorial, Tropical continental, Monsoon, Hot deserts and Cold climates; and there characteristics.
Equatorial climate is usually found at laitude 5° north and south of the equator. It can be commonly found in South America, Africa and South-east Asia. This climate is hot and wet and there is not a seasonal change. Moreover, equatorial climates have an average precipitation vale exceeding 2000/2500 mm, because of thuderstorms which take place in the afternoon. The Equatorial climate is characterized by its humidity and its daily pattern. One day in an equatorial climate can be very similar to the next day, with places which get 12 hours of sunlight and 12 of darkness. Monthly temperatures are between 25°-33°c. By mid-afternoon there are heavy thuderstorms and nights are very warm and humid.
Tropical continental climate is located in the middle of the continents away from coastal areas, within 5° and 15° degrees either side of the Equator. It is mainly found in South America and Africa. The principal regions with tropical climate are the Amazon Basin in Brazil, Congo Basin in West Africa and Indonesia. In this type of climate there are two seasons: a hot wet season and a warm dry season. The average temperature is of 31°c and the annual range of temperature is of 8°c. The annual precipitation is of 920mm.
The Monsoon climate is located in southeast Asia. The word "monsoon" means "a season". There are two seasons: the south-west monsoon and the north-east monsoon. South-west monsoon it has a wet season which becomes very hot. The sun moves to the north of the Himalayas. Air is forced to rise over the Himalayas giving heavy reliel rainfall. This rain is great for rice cultivation but it can cause floods. The north-east monsoon, during winter, the sun moves to the south and places to the north of Himalayas get colder. As winds come from a dry area, the amount of rainfall is small.
Hot deserts can be found on the west coast of continents and within 5° and 30° degrees either side of the Equator. Some examples are the Atacama desert in South America, the Kalahari-Namib in southern Africa and the Australian and Mexican deserts. The annual precipitation is of 40mm and the annual range of temperatures is of 24°c. This type of climate is characterized by its high temperatures, its lack of rainfall and its high evapotranspiration.
Finally, cold climates can be located 60°N in Eurasia. Its also located in Scandinavia, Russia, North America, Central Alaska and northern Canada. Winters are dark, long and freezing. Strong winds make temperatures lower. Summers are a bit warmer than winters because there is no longer daylight. The annual precipitation is of 297mm because the air is too cold to hold moisture. The annual range of temperature is of 40°c.

I´m really tired of feeling like this. I´m tired of feeling that when I gIve someone a hand, they take my elbow. I have feelings, my heart breaks a little more everytime. I hear how people mistreat me. Neither my family nor my closest friends know what is happening to me. People in my school go past me like I am nothing, and I have been invisible since I can remember. I feel as a sad girl without a way out. "I can´t handle this anymore. I feel so destroyed"- I whispered to my only friend, the one that is as nice and quite, like the dark sky. Besides, she is the only one who had always been there, "Please, look before you leap, you are so young, don´t make something stupid"- she exclaimed with a desperate look. "I... I can´t"- I was almost without voice. However, her look made me have hope in that something good could happen to me. Instead, I realised that I was fat and ugly, that no guy could ever look at me. As a result, I will be lonely my whole life. "Look, you are the best person in the whole world, and people are too blind to see that"- her voice, as soft as silk, made me cry, and she ran to me and I hugged her like tomorrow didn´t exist. At the end, I realised, how important was to think things better, and to have a person that is there no matter what.

En clase de Lengua trabajamos con la famosa película protagonizada por Leonardo DiCaprio, El Origen. Esta película atrapante y al mismo tiempo enloquecedora se basa en un grupo de personas que se meten o comparten sueños con los demás. En este caso se meten en la cabeza de un empresario para implantarle una idea en un sueño compartido. Una de las principales atracciones de la película son los tótem; ese insignificante objeto que en esta película cumple un rol muy importante ya que ayuda al personaje porque si se cae el tótem no es un sueño y si no se cae si es un sueño. El tótem es el objeto que determina que es real y que no.
El objetivo principal en la película es la propuesta que le hace Saito a Cobb. Saito le propone implantarle una idea a Fisher de terminar con el imperio de su padre. Cobb se siente presionado porque necesita hacer este trabajo para ganarse el poder volver a casa con sus hijos; junta un grupo que lo va a ayudar a lo largo de esta misión.
"¿Sin la sombra de la duda, sin sentimiento de persecución, buscado por todo el mundo, por empresas anónimas y fuerzas policiales, como proyecciones persiguiendo al soñador...?" Cobb era perseguido por la policía por asuntos ilegales que había cometido, entonces Mal, su esposa (que esta muerta, pero sigue presente en el mundo creado por ellos) intenta persuadirlo para que se quede; que el sueño donde ellos viven, en donde ella vive aún, es mejor que la vida de fugitivo que el lleva pero que al menos es real.
"Tu mundo no es real" Mal se lo dice a Cobb cuando la encuentra en el mundo que crearon juntos. Ella se lo dice porque es la idea que el le plantó cuando vivían allí y ella es lo que cree ahora, su único fundamento presente. Mal se lo dice para convencerlo que el mundo de Cobb no es real, y que vuelva con ella.
Acá les dejo una presentación sobre el Ebola y Médicos Sin Fronteras. Es una enfermedad que se tiene que ser estudiada, no hay cura, pero la organización MSF ayuda un poco a no sufrir de tantas perdidas...
El SUH es una enfermedad transmitida por alimentos que afecta de forma permanente a una región. Se presenta generalmente en primavera-verano.Tiene una mortalidad aproximada de 3%. Daña principalmente los riñones, la sangre y el intestino, pero a su vez daña el sistema nervioso, corazón y páncreas. Principalmente afecta a niños pequeños pero hoy en día se encuentran entre el grupo de riesgo, niños mayores. La primera causa de esta enfermedad es que los riñones no funcionan en los niños menores de 5 años y como consecuencia los niños necesitan un trasplante renal.
¿Cómo se contagia?
La forma más frecuente es contraer la enfermedad mediante alimentos en mal estado, o el contacto directo con animales y personas contaminadas (contaminación directa).
Otra forma que los alimentos contaminados se ponen en contacto con los no contaminados. Como por ejemplo si en la heladera tengo un pollo crudo que no esta correctamente empaquetado, puede chorrear y abajo podría haber una ensalada y se contamina. (contaminación cruzada)
La trasmisión de persona a persona es más frecuente ya que no hay un uso respetable del lavado de manos luego de ir al baño.
Hay veces que en la enfermedad se relaciona con infecciones respiratorias, medicaciones o causas hereditarias. Las manos deben lavarse con agua tibia y jabón antes de comer o después de ir al baño.
¿Qué alimentos son los más riesgosos?
La bacteria se encuentra en el aparato digestivo del ganado vacuno. Las heces del mismo contaminan la carne en el procesamiento de la carne así como productos derivados y el medio ambiente. Esta bacteria se pega a la superficie de la carne. Cuando se muele la carne la bacteria se introduce y así es más difícil sacarla. Las verduras y frutas que no fueron bien lavadas también contaminan, así como el agua no potable. Los productos lácteos pueden contaminarse cuando pierden el frío.

Evolución de la enfermedad:
Disminuye los glóbulos rojos causando anemia y se suele necesitar transfuciones de sangre. La enfermedad dura entre 10 o 15 días y se prolonga si ya es un caso más grave. Afecta a los riñones, al sistema cardiovascular y al nervioso.
Prevención:
Tratamiento:
No hay un tratamiento específico pero es muy importante no dar antibióticos cuando alguien tiene esta enfermedad. El único tratamiento es ir solucionando todo lo que la enfermedad produce (transplantes de riñon, sangre, ect)
Agente casual:
Este agente se denomina Shigatoxina y es producida por la bacteria Escherichia coli que se encuentra en el intestino del ganado vacuno y de personas que a su vez contaminan alimentos ,agua y medio ambiente.
Mi opinión es que hasta ahora no sabía de esta enfermedad. No suelo implementar mucho de todo lo que hable, no me acuerdo siempre de lavarme las manos, y es algo que está muy mal. No es una enfermedad como el cáncer, se puede prevenir tal como lo dije en esta entrada, está en tus manos cuidarte del SUH.
